Turquoise + 14k Gold Earrings c.1970

Description

These fabulous earrings are set with bright and delicate turquoise in a bed of 14 karat gold. Their beautiful texture is enhanced with the movement of a carved golden bead dangling from its base. With a post at the top, they make amazing statement stud earrings with a retro vibe.

• The stones are pyramid-cut cabochons each measureing about 2mm across
  
• The earrings measure 1" from top to bottom with the drop bead measuring an additional 0.25"
• Due to the nature of natural turquoise, we recommend limiting exposure to water when wearing these earrings. 
• Dating to c.1970, these earrings may show signs of wear commensurate with their age. They have been evaluated to ensure the stones are secure and the metal in good condition, and have been fully cleaned and polished.

This piece is part of our Amaranthine collection, which celebrates the ways in which jewelry is everlasting.  The earrings were made in the 1970s and selected by Christine at an antique jewelry show in 2023. By featuring a collection focused on giving new life to antique & vintage jewelry, we are reducing our environmental impact and giving this beautiful piece of jewelry new life.
