Description

This stunning ring hailing from just after the turn of the century is aglow with its fiery center stone, an impressive black opal. The stone's mystical quality and striking colors combined with the ring's lovingly forged floral motif make it a prime example of jewelry from the Arts and Crafts era, when artistic expression and inspirations from nature abounded. Carefully handcrafted of 12k white and yellow gold, this beautiful ring is ready to live a new lifetime with you.

  • 12k yellow and white gold
  • This black opal weighs approximately 2.5 carats
  • The stone measures about 15mm from top to bottom
  • The setting measures about about 20mm across and sits low on the finger.
  • This ring is currently a size 5.5. Please contact us with custom sizing requests.
  • Due to the nature of natural opal, we recommend limiting exposure to water. This ring would be best suited for wear on special occasions.
  • Dating to 1912, this ring may show signs of wear commensurate with its age. The ring has been evaluated to ensure the stone is secure and the metal in good condition, and it has been fully cleaned and polished.

This ring is part of our Amaranthine collection, which celebrates the ways in which jewelry is everlasting.  This ring was made in the early 1900s and was selected by Christine at an antique jewelry show in 2023. By featuring a collection focused on giving new life to antique & vintage jewelry, we are reducing our environmental impact and giving this beautiful piece of jewelry new life.
