Edwardian Ruby + Diamond ring in Platinum and 14k Gold c.1900

Description

The delicately tapered "navette" shape of this stone setting is beautifully decorated with pave-set diamonds and rubies, a stunning example of the romanticism and craftsmanship of Edwardian-era jewelry. The platinum-topped setting sparkles with each movement, while its handpierced underside sits elegantly presented by a sweeping 14k yellow gold band.

• The setting measures about 1" from top to bottom x 0.5", and the band measures approximately 2mm in width

• Dating to circa 1900, this ring may show signs of wear commensurate with its age. It has been evaluated to ensure the stones are secure and the metal in good condition, and it has been fully cleaned and polished.
